I am a 500-hour Certified Yoga Instructor with over 30 years of experience teaching in higher education. About fourteen years ago, my journey toward a lifestyle change began in India when I sought an Ayurvedic treatment for an ailment that Western medicine couldn't cure. This eye-opening experience inspired me to transform my life and share my experience with others.
Over the last few years, I have developed a specialized stretching practice focused on healthy spine exercises. I have also dedicated myself to the culinary arts, enrolling in plant-based cooking classes in India, Italy, and in the US with Forks Over Knives. Spending months volunteering on farms in Colombia, Portugal, and Uruguay allowed me to deepen my understanding of cooking with fresh, farm-to-table ingredients sourced directly from the land, while learning about permaculture and sustainable food sources.
A New Chapter in Aguanga. I have recently moved to the beautiful mountains of Aguanga, about 90 minutes from Encinitas. While I am not currently teaching stretching and yoga classes at MiraCosta College, I am continuing to offer private yoga, stretching, and personalized wellness routines. I am happy to welcome you to my new mountain retreat for a session, or I can travel to your home—we can arrange a schedule that works best for you.
Plant-Based Culinary Services. I look forward to returning to MiraCosta College in Summer 2026 for my popular Plant-Based cooking classes. In the meantime, I am available to bring the flavors of my global training to you. Whether you want a private cooking lesson to learn how to plan and organize a healthy menu, or you would like me to cater an entire plant-based menu for your next party or event (up to 20 people), I am here to help. You can find more details regarding menus and pricing on the Cook page of this website.
My goal remains the same: to make the healing power of gentle movement and a balanced diet available to everyone. I am humbled and honored to continue this mission.

Thank you, gracias, namaste.
I have also taken several courses and workshops on nutritarian lifestyle, back pain relief, mindfulness, and cooking.
I'm an Argentina-born educator, passionate about helping students reach their fullest potential.
For the past two decades, it has been my honor to teach Spanish credit courses at MiraCosta College. Additionally, I recently began teaching non-credit enrichment classes such as Plant-Based cooking, Restorative Yoga and Stretching.
